Jobs
Each member of the village has a job. They will choose two when they become an apprentice, and for 6-8 years they will learn everything about these jobs from two separate teachers, one for each job. Jobs that are available to become an apprentice in are:
Hunter: Catches small animals and brings them back for the pack to eat. Hunters are animal form.
Scout: Watches for intruders from other species' and carries messages to other species', or to other members within their own villages. A scout also watches for anything dangerous within their territory, like cougars and such. Scouts are either form, but usually animal is fastest.
Fighter: A fighter's job is the most dangerous, but not a daily chore. Fighters are trained to, well, fight, so if the village gets into a fight with another village, a wild animal or anything else that may harm them, the fighters will defend and attack. Fighters are animal form.
Healer: Treats wounds and sicknesses of the village with forest herbs. Healers are human form.
Care taker: Watches over the cubs. Mothers aren't responsible for watching their children, as they have jobs to do, so care takers do that. Care Takers are both forms.
Teacher: You cannot chose to become a teacher; if I think a character would make a good teacher, I will PM you about it, and if you accept, you will abandon both your jobs, but you will still be doing them every day as you teacher your apprentices to master them. Each teacher can mentor a maximum of five apprentices at a time. Teachers forms depend on the job they are teaching.
The apprenticeships must be balanced out, so if there get to be too many or not enough in a certain job, I will put up ban and encouragements. For now, there are no teachers, so apprentices are not allowed until I chose some.
Species[/b]
All of the species look just like humans. No wings, no special powers or anything. But each species can transform into a certain animal. Their two forms are not split equally. The human-like form is their default form, their preferred one, even though when their are born it is into animal form. Characters will spend most of their time in human form, though animal forms are needed often to complete their daily jobs.
Lunar Cat
Angels transform into the Lunar Cat. This animal is the size and shape of a cougar, thin and agile. Their fur is very long, and equally soft, but it doesn't tangle easily. They have ears like...Well, like the dog in the picture for Forum Of The Month(In the side tables), though the ears of the Lunar Cat droop slightly. They all have huge eyes, and they can be shades of purple, blue, green and yellow/orange. The claws of a Lunar Cat are always white.
Ember Horse
Elves transform into the Ember Horse. It looks just like a normal horse, except that the ears droop, like a dog's, and they don't have manes or tails. The hooves of an ember horse are a dull-ish orange, the color we would call strawberry red in hair colors. The eyes of an ember horse are reds, oranges, yellows or dark grays to black.
Sleet Wolf
Vampires transform into the Sleet Wolf. The sleet wolf really does look exactly like a normal wolf in shape and size, but it's the pelt that changes it all. The fur of every Sleet Wolf is like a galaxy. There are a minimum of three colors in the pelt. Two base colors, that swirl around each other, and one third color that is like the stars-Irregular shaped dots spread all over the body. The tail is just a mixture of hairs of the three colors. The first two colors are always very dark, and the third is bright. It is not unusual for pelt colors to be purple, blue, or even yellow. The eyes of a Sleet Wolf are any shade of purple, blue, or pink.
Fern Bear
Humans transform into the Fern Bear, the gentle sibling of a polar bear. They are slightly smaller and more slender than a normal bear, with long ears like the Lunar Cat. The difference is that the ears of a Fern Bear are much bigger, and droop delicately to their shoulders. Of course, the ears aren't that long, but the fur on them is. In fact, all of the Fern Bear's fur is extremely long, though it is fragile and airy, so they don't get hot in the never-ending heat of Cristia. They have slim faces and skinny legs, with large paws. The eyes of a Fern Bear are any color at all.
The Island[/b]
There are descriptions of each territory in the boards for them, but to get a better idea of where everything is, I took a few minutes to put together a map. Sorry, I know it's horrible, I'm not good with paint xD Hopefully you can get a basic idea of where everything is, though. Of course, the entire thing is surrounded by the ocean, but you can't see any of it in Frithst or Kayre because the ocean is outside of their territories, in the unknown ones.

Another thing I should mention is that in Cristia it is always very hot, and never snows, though it does get even hotter when spring and summer come around.
Camps/Villages[/b]
I'll keep this quick, and just mention that everyone sleeps in animal form, and do most of the things around camp in the same form. It is just as easy to speak in animal form, so it's not a problem.
